consistent quality. Providing impressive economy, Flowserve investment
castings will keep expensive finishing and machining operations
to a minimum, and in some cases, eliminate the need all together.
Flowserve Foundry Operations' Shell Process
routinely produces castings to ASTM Severity Level II with superior
surface finish and excellent dimensional integrity. Mold and core sands
have been specially formulated to reduce gas levels producing castings
with high internal quality.
Reactive-Alloy expertise is applied in
the production of high quality titanium, zirconium and specialty reactive
alloy castings.
No-Bake Process can satisfy the most demanding
requirements for high quality, high performance castings... for either
a prototype or an extended run. Utilizing wood patterns, no-bake is
particularly appropriate for prototype work as alterations can be made
cost effectively.
Wherever acids, solvents, bleaches, detergents
or otherwise aggressive fluids can be found, Duriron pipe and fittings
can be used.
