Flowserve Foundry Operations' Shell Process routinely produces castings to ASTM Severity Level II with superior surface finish and excellent dimensional integrity.
Mold and core sands have been specially formulated to reduce gas levels producing castings with high internal quality.
Well suited to higher volume production, the shell process provides important cost-saving benefits. For larger production runs, this can have a substantial cost-saving impact.
